| Sale
It’s
been over a year that we’ve
been working with our new
partner, Blickle. When we
think “new supplier”,
we sometimes think of new
series, added and complimentary
products, and in some cases,
duplicate products.
Right
now, we’re analyzing
our inventory and preparing
to offer to our customers
in the next few weeks a SUPER
LIQUIDATION SALE.
Watch
your incoming e-mails in order
to benefit from our low prices
on some of our series. If
you have projects that you’re
working on and are looking
for quality casters at a great
price, please call our office
or your sales representative
to take advantage of our sale
of discontinued items.
We hope
that we can help you increase
your profits by benefiting
from this sale!

| Bleutec
is now part of ICWM
This past June, Bleutec
officially became a member of the Institute of
Caster and Wheel Manufacturers, which is an affiliated
trade association of the Material Handling Industry
of America (www.mhia.org).
Bleutec is now part of the
10-member ICWM council that meets twice a year
to discuss standards, education, and issues concerning
the material handling industry. This will give
us the opportunity to get really involved in North
America’s material handling market.
ICWM’s purpose is
to educate users on products, develop guidelines
and standards in the material handling field that
involves casters, wheels, industrial trailer trucks,
platform trucks, and towline trucks. Also, ICWM
maintains liaisons with government agencies and
other organizations, which permits its members
to be aware of changes and to provide input on
education and standards.
We’ll be attending
the upcoming fall meeting, so be on the lookout
for an article about it in the next edition of
the Leader.com.

Philippe’s
thoughts…
This
past June, I started on a new adventure, and most
of the time, adventures bring an uncertainty factor,
and uncertainty sometimes creates fears.
I can say that, since June, my adventure is “rolling”
along smoothly. I’m surrounded by an experienced
team, and some are so experienced that I sometimes
wonder if they’re not the ones who invented
the wheel!
As a result, their experience
has made my learning process that much easier.
Things are fast-paced at Bleutec, and it’s
all part of being amongst a dynamic group, which
I really enjoy. I am therefore very enthused about
being part of Bleutec’s team.
I’ve already started
to meet some of Bleutec’s customers, and
it’s a real pleasure. For those of you who
I have not yet had the chance to meet, I’ll
be getting the opportunity to meet you in the
upcoming weeks. See you soon!

New
products
Blickle has just introduced
a new wheel and new caster.
The Blickle “Easy
Roll” wheel

The new “Easy Roll” wheel is made
of a gray elastic rubber with a shore hardness
of 65 Shore A, and is vulcanized to the polyamide
center which gives it a non-detachable connection
to the center. The greatest advantage of this
wheel is that it has a very low starting and rolling
effort, which could be reduced by as much as 40%
when compared to other standard rubber wheels.
The “Easy Roll”
wheel fits into the majority of Blickle rigs,
and is suitable for institutional applications
where low starting effort, reduced noise, and
floor-saving/non-marking properties are required.
LHD Caster Series

With the LHD series, Blickle
has topped off its heavy duty line by introducing
this new dual caster that can support very heavy
loads where there are height restrictions.
The LHD series is available
for a 4 or 5 inch wheel, with the caster’s
weight capacity ranging from 770 to 1,760 lbs.
The LHD rig can be assembled with one of the following
3 wheels:
ALEV wheel: elastic rubber
wheel with aluminium center which provides a low
starting effort, easy rollability, and floor-saving
characteristics.
ALTH wheel: Blickle Extrathane®
polyurethane wheel with aluminium center which
provides a high resistance to abrasion, even at
high weight capacities.
SPO wheel: quality nylon
6 wheel which provides a high resistance to chemical
products or aggressive agents, and that can be
used in the most sterile environments.
Please don’t
hesitate to contact us if you would like to have
more technical data on these wheels and casters.

Blickle
CAD downloads
With an extensive product range such as
the one offered by Blickle, sometimes trying
to make sense of 20,000 different types
of casters and wheels can be a challenge
from a design standpoint.
Therefore, Blickle makes it easy and convenient
to integrate casters to your new rolling
equipment designs by offering a CAD file
download service that can be found at www.blickle.de.
The following link will take you directly
into Blickle’s website where you will
find all information in order to obtain
CAD files: click
here!
Please do not hesitate to register for
your login name and password, and take advantage
of this tool’s convenience and accuracy
when the time comes to innovate with Blickle
wheels and casters.
