| My
racing summer….
Summer 2004
is already behind us. Did summer
fly by for you too? It just went
by too fast!

Here I am with Paul Tracy, 2003
Champ Car Champion!
I thought
that I’d share my racing summer
with you. There was Formula 1 in
June with Michael’s seventh
win of the season, Champ Car in
August with Patrick Carpentier’s
second place finish, and I was very
lucky to get to go to Loudon New
Hampshire in July to see my first
oval race and Nascar practice session.
Yellow Freight invited Bleutec to
see the Busch series race and cheer
their Yellow sponsored car. Wow!
We even got to meet their driver,
Casey Mears, nephew of the legendary
Rick Mears.

All the pit road action from
Loudon, NH
It
was pretty awesome to hear and see
the cars at
full speed going round the track.
I’ll have to go back
next year!
Enjoy
the pictures, and have a wonderful
fall season!

The
start of one of the support races
from the
Champ Car weekend

| SANDWICH
IS MOVING OUR BREAD !
Most of you have
probably heard about our famous, but misunderstood,
SANDWICH casters. If you've never heard of this
special caster, then this success story of a
Canadian bread manufacturer should catch your
attention.

Some of you may have noticed
that some bread manufacturers use four wheel
carts to deliver bread from their facilities
to your local grocery store.
One of our customers,
who was using 3" solid nylon casters, decided
to reduce replacement costs, therefore in 2002
we recommended our 4" SANDWICH casters.
Since then, this bread manufacturer has seen
a significant decrease in the number of casters
replaced.

The solid nylon wheels
originally used could not absorb the continuous
shocks when, for example, the carts were accidentally
dropped from the delivery trucks onto the pavement.
Many wheels would break in half, resulting in
tremendous drawbacks: maintenance time, money
and non-use of equipment. Our customer wanted
to keep using hard wheels because of the ergonomic
issues involved, (hardest wheels result in lowest
starting
efforts), but they also needed the
shock absorbing capabilities of soft and elastic
rubber wheels. This is why we offered the SANDWICH
casters: Shock absorption combined
with minimal starting effort
and noise reduction which are
the three fundamental characteristics behind
the SANDWICH wheel's design. (Sandwich
Wheel).
Today, this bread
manufacturer has reached its cost saving goals
by investing with Bleutec casters. We have since
sold to them over 40,000 units of the 4"
Sandwich casters.

Promotion
Since the leader.com’s
inauguration in September 2002, we have had
several promotions to thank you for your readership,
and to try to have you save some dollars.
Unfortunately
and/or fortunately, few customers benefited
from our offers, which in some cases, could
have saved you 5% on orders.
With the return
of the leader.com following a 3 month summer
break, we suggest that you keep a close eye
on our Web site and on the leader.com because
we have other promotional ideas. Also, we are
working on expanding our product line and we
will hopefully be able to give you all the latest
details in the upcoming months.
