| LETTER
FROM THE EDITOR
Another year is ending,
and it seems that the years go by faster and faster.
December is usually a month for analyzing, planning,
and budgeting. We hope that you have attained
your 2003 goals, and we wish you a prosperous
2004.
The last leader.com of the
2003 is a bit more visual, and it is what you
are likely to see in the upcoming editions. Please
take a few moments to skim through our newsletter
and familiarize yourselves with new products,
one of our employees, and our new premises.
We encourage you to write
to us with your comments and suggestions, and
help us make the leader.com even better.
On behalf of all of
us at Bleutec, I wish you a happy holiday season.
Signed,
Luc Turcotte

THE BLEUTEC TEAM
Donald is
the last of our introductions of the BLEUTEC team.
He's been with us for almost 2 years, working
on assembling and shipping wheels and casters.
Donald
is appreciated by his colleagues for his contagious
good nature. He quickly integrated into Bleutec's
philosophy, and he too prioritizes customer satisfaction.
He is conscientious, dynamic, and very efficient.
Donald, due to his positive attitude, has become
an important asset for our organization.

SURF'S
UP !

Do
any of you jog or do morning exercises before
heading to work ? Well, how about surfing before
going to the office ? This is what our Massachusetts
distributor does every morning, even in the winter
!
When Brian Kiley of Atlantic
Nuclear told me that he surfs, I thought it would
be neat to write an article about it, so I put
my journalist hat on and asked him a few questions.
Brian takes his surf board
to the New Hampshire coast at 7:00 AM each morning
and rides the waves for about an hour. Not a bad
way to start the day ! He's been surfing for 22
years and in his words, "surfs religiously
since 1988".
He mentioned that the East
coast ( Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island) offers
good waves and that the best waves are in Cape
Hatteras NC. When I asked him about surfing in
Canada, he answered that Nova Scotia is excellent.
And the south ? His reply is Costa Rica, where
he usually goes when he takes his vacation.
So, to all you surfers out
there, happy waves dudes !
PS.
As Christmas is just a few days away, I'd like
to wish all of you a very happy and safe holiday.
Best wishes for 2004 !
Nancy

Volunteer
work
Why do volunteer
work? I’ve always been active in my community,
therefore I’ve never stopped to ask myself
this question. When were asked to write an article
for the leader.com about one of our passions,
I immediately thought of my volunteer work in
the social community.
Volunteer
work signifies doing something without receiving
a salary or reward, not feeling obliged, and volunteering
for one’s pleasure. With members of my family,
we’ve been implicated in sporting associations
in our region. Over the past twenty years, I’ve
been involved in minor hockey and for a period
of five years, I was Vice-President of minor hockey
in Ville Ste. Catherine, a suburb on the south
shore of Montreal.
The
biggest problem that we encounter these days is
people’s lack of involvement in their community.
Everyone seems to be too busy to volunteer, yet
we come across some people who take the time to
criticize and complain. What would our children
and teenagers do if adults never implicated themselves
in social or sporting associations? We should
take a couple of hours a month to get involved
in our social communities, and set the example
for our children.

Waste container wheels
This wheel
is specifically designed to equip waste containers,
and there are more than 3,000,000 wheels manufactured
each year!
This performance ranks Guitel
as the world leader in waste container equipment.
In Europe, 1 out of 2 wheels is manufactured at
Guitel’s Arras plant.
One characteristic of the
wheel is its hub that surpasses the rim, which
enables easy set up on waste containers. Also,
in order to prevent wheel theft on the garbage
containers, the axle is equipped with a groove
in which a bolt is snap locked into it. Finally,
the wheel is made out of grounded recycled rubber.
Wheels are avalaible in 8, 10, 12 inches.

| Promotion
For those of you that read
us on a regular basis, you may recall the promotion
that we offered in our last edition of the LEADER.COM.
Many of you benefited from
the 3% discount that we offered on orders, and
that was just by reading the entire LEADER.COM.
Chances
are that we will be doing more promotions in future
editions. We don't yet have all the details, but
the promotions will be the same concept: to visit
our Web Site ! www.bleutec.com

Offices

We're all
moved into our new Montreal premises on Boul.
Matte in Brossard. If you have ever experienced
moving your business location, you'll surely understand
the challenge !
We've taken a few pictures
to give you an idea of how we are set up. We now
have 15,000 sq. ft., 2,100 sq. ft. of office space,
an inventory of well over $1 million and the capability
to stock 750 skids. Our assembly stations, order
preparation and packaging, shipping and receiving
departments are now better adapted.
We
apologize once again for any inconvenience that
our moving may have caused you, but rest assured
that our move will increase our efficiency to
better serve you.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
This month,
we introduce a product that we think has great
potential at Bleutec: The UNIROLL Series.
We are only starting
to promote and to show this new high quality caster
to our present customers and we are already getting
a very good response, mainly because of the prices
we offer. It is so fresh out of the oven, don’t
even look for it in the next Bleutec mini-catalogue
that should be coming out in early January 2004.
The following are UNIROLL’s
major characteristics:
* The wheel is a grey Thermo
plastic rubber
* The brake is total lock
* Wheel diamaters range from 2" to 5"
* Weight capacities range from 90 to 200 lbs.
* Available with hollow king pin or with top plate
* The top plate casters do have a rigid version,
as opposed to our NOVOPLEX casters
We will keep you informed
on the UNIROLL casters. Be on the lookout for
them !
