Mold-On
Rubber
Soft black rubber molded onto cast center, roller
bearing hub ( 80 durometer Shore (A) scale). These
casters are ideal for heavy duty applications whenever
a softer rubber wheel is required for shock absorbtion,
vibration reduction and obstacle passing. Swivel
raceways and wheels are equipped with grease fittings. |
 |
Polyolefin
Hard
( 65 Shore (D) scale )black polyolefin wheels with
ball bearing hubs. Best performance on smooth and
hard floors where obstacles and debris ( screws
rivets and metal pieces from machining) are not
found. Combined with the low rolling resistance
of a ball bearing hub, these wheels are maintenance
free. |
 |
Phenolic
These
phenolic wheels with roller bearing hubs are popular
and recommended on hard and clean surfaces and in
cases where the application requires a hard wheel
(85 durometer Shore (D) scale). These wheels are
non-marking, excellent load carriers and highly
shock resistant. They are all equipped with grease
fittings at the hubs. |
 |
Polyurethane
Red
polyurethane thread molded onto a polypropylene
center. With its greasable roller bearing hub, this
wheel will provide the users with a quiet and soft
ride. We recommend these wheels where heavy loads
are carried under humid conditions as well as other
dry conditions. Please refer to the MECANINOX caster
section of this web site for 100% anti corrosion
casters. |
 |
Pneumatic
These wheels are the best option for most outdoor
terrain applications . More specifically, we recommend
this caster on uneven and very bumpy surfaces. By
popular belief, these wheels are thought to be the
best option for inside industrial handling specifically
to overcome larger obstacles. Please refer to the
RESILEX section of this Web site for a better option
as far as overcoming obstacles. |
