Caster wheels manufacturer heavy duty, swivel, industrial, pneumatic caster Bleutec, the North American division of Guitel, was created in 1987 to answer the market's demand for a high quality caster. Our association with Guitel, fourth in the world and Europe's leader as manufacturer of industrial and institutional wheels, has enabled Bleutec Inc. to introduce to the market the blue Resilex wheel. In 1987, our objective was to become the leader in the wheel and caster market. Today our organization prides itself on an excellent reputation based on the advantages of our unique products. Together with our European partners, we have based our research in the past years on 4 requirements: Improve the user's comfort. Prolong the wheels/casters durability. Respect the environment (noise, recycling, etc.) Respect sanitary conditions (lubrication, corrosion, stainless steel) We are continuously working on improving our product line and we hope that our customers will benefit from our efforts in our research. In the past few years, we have created products that distinguishes us from the competition and gives us the competitive advantage in our market. How Bleutec and Guitel got the market's attention THE ROAD CASE INDUSTRY For over 20 years, RESILEX has been the reference caster in the demanding road case application. The "blue wheel" gained its popularity, 25 years ago in England, when the first road case manufacturer, Packhorse Cases, started to use Guitel's RESILEX caster. The advantages : Greater reliabilit Better capability of shock absorbtion Higher life expectancy (15 years under normal conditions) Today, from North America to Europe, road case manufacturers are well aware of the reliability and quality of GUITEL’S original blue super elastic rubber wheel . RESILEX is a registered trademark of Guitel who developed the first prototypes of this wheel in 1950. At that time all rubber rings were black and molded on a die cast center hub, and the rubber compound was marking the floors because of its high density of soot. With the growing demand for this type of wheel within the institutional market, Guitel developed in 1975 the blue " non-marking " RESILEX as we know it today. Since its concept, this rubber wheel which has specific properties adaptable to intensive material handling applications, has never stopped growing in popularity in the North American and European markets. Today, many of our competitors can offer casters equipped with blue rubber wheels, of which the quality is uncomparable to RESILEX. As opposed to the majority of rubber wheels offered for industrial handling applications, RESILEX is composed of a high proportion of pure rubber. The other components within RESILEX gives the wheels other mechanical properties such as resilience. Elasticity is what makes this rubber compound so unique. It will give RESILEX the capability of rolling over obstacles, absorbing them by losing its original rounded shape, and instantly come back to it. Once the obstacles are passed and as the compound returns to the rounded shape, a pushing effect is created thus reducing the effort required to start moving and to keep moving any RESILEX equipped handling cart. It is possible for us to give you exact calculations of starting efforts depending on wheel diameters, wheel material, weight and different bearings types. ( see following graphs) Caster equipped with RESILEX wheel Caster equipped with regular moldon rubber wheel The Resilex wheel is not affected by metal particles found on floors. These pictures, taken at an aeronautical plant, show how the metal chips do not become embedded into the rubber of the wheel.
